A prayer for Guidance...

O God, here I am, a single entity, bearing the cares of many on my shoulders.
Help me to continue to be a source of light for them by your spirit.
Keep me from being weary.
Help me to continue to remember that your grace is sufficient.
Continue to light my path and help me in all things not to rely on my own insight,
but to trust in you with all my heart, for you will direct my path.

This prayer comes from the book Women's Uncommon Prayers: Our lives revealed, nurtured, celebrated. I found this prayer helpful today, as I get ready to visit the sick, prepare for a memorial service, and gear up for our second rally day Sunday. There are times when I am tired and need to remember that God's grace is sufficient for each of us.
May the grace of God be with you this day.
